About us: The Ackermann Team

The Ackermann Team from Hannover has set itself the task to make the gentle method of gold implantation better known throughout Germany. By cooperating with medical doctors and supporting trials it wants to enable millions of joint patients to make use of the gold implantation as a benefit provided by the health insurer.

The Ackermann Team was launched in 2010 as a purely private and voluntary campaign: as a matter of conviction, based on our own experience and with the wish to help. In 2015, the association „Goldimplantation zur Gelenkbehandlung und Schmerztherapie e. V.“ (registered society for gold implantation for joint treatment and pain therapy) – an initiative of the Ackermann Team – was founded and recognised as a charitable organisation.

Our team consists of private people, who are committed voluntarily to the introduction of gold implantation for humans in Germany. The initiator and project leader is Bärbel Ackermann. Our large team provides all the necessary competences from medicine, natural sciences, economics, from the fields of project management, information technology, communication, publishing and design as well as other fields in order to help establish gold implantation as a method of therapy in the case of osteoarthritis.
